In depth
Verdict
Plenty in with chances in the second division of a tricky sprint and Mr Pertemps is the suggestion to small stakes. Richard Fahey has his team in good order at present and the selection has paid his way by landing two of his three starts here this term. Both wins came over an extra furlong but this hard-pulling type shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop back to the minimum trip and should go well for each-way backers. River Days and Tigress have also been in winning form this year but both now look high enough in the handicap judged on recent evidence. Fiamma Royale is better over further and is likely to be outpaced but Cash is a course and distance winner who remains in good form and shouldn't be far away despite top weight.
