In depth

Verdict

Dear Daphne returned a losing favourite for the third time in succession when failing to land the odds at Pontefract though went close over track and trip before that. But KRACKING has the more scope having finished behind the unbeaten Dubai Dawn at Wolverhampton on his debut and Clive Cox’ grey gets the vote. Ormolulu finished runner-up here on her racecourse bow and the gelding Okami is a newcomer to note.
