    Verdict

Recent course winner Cascadia and the lowly-rated Chanceuse have a tough task on today's terms. But there's little between the remaining quartet at the the weights. Nick The Odds would have strong claims if taking part but was due to run here yesterday and Black Geronimo has shown his best over shorter distances so far. Black Vale won at Lingfield last week and is a leading contender back on this surface, though he found STONEY QUINE too good over track and trip back in November. The latter has since won again at this course and it's Keith Dalgleish's filly that gets the nod in a tight contest.
