Notnowsam won off a higher mark over fences at Warwick last month so appears to have an obvious chance in this. Vodka 'n Tonic is a tricky ride but Nico de Boinville got him to put his head in front at Exeter last month and Jeremiah McGrath will be hoping to do likewise here. The Geegeez Geegee has every chance when running out at the last at Worcester last Thursday while Mr Shantu won at Ffos Las last month. Rocky Rebel is on a hat-trick after victories at Exeter and over this course and distance but Maller Tree looks to be back in the handicapper's grip. BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY gets a tentative vote in a competitive handicap as he was in good form on similar surfaces last summer and will be all the better for a recent spin on the all-weather.
