Verdict

CAPTAIN CRACKERS has questions to answer but he will be a short order to dismiss Ministerofinterior and Tipsy Indian. Somewhat worryingly, the Jonjo O'Neill inmate pulled up sharply at Ffos Las but the presence of the champion jockey in such an insignificant contest convinces us that he must retain at least a measure of faith in the five-year-old. Ministerofinterior is a regular in plating events. He has been kept on the go on the flat this summer so should not want for fitness. Former pointer, On The Mark was not disgraced at Hereford and could be suited by today's drop in trip. Tipsy Indian has raced prominently in bumpers and is one to note on this drop in grade. It Did Happen has been available at big odds in Ireland and is of obvious interest as a raider from the Michael Hourigan stable. Alecia has a bit to do at the weights but this step back up in trip has seemed long overdue. A bad contest that revolves solely around the ability or infirmity of the likely favourite, Captain Crackers.
