    Verdict

New Decade improved to finish fourth on soft ground at Hamilton last time and looks sure to be thereabouts. Pearl Catcher made his debut over 7f at Beverley and may do better dropping back in trip, but SCROOBY DOO is preferred. He was unfancied over C&D on his first start but plugged on in the closing stages for second place albeit beaten four lengths. With improvement likely, Dandy Nicholl's charge gets the nod to open his account. Behlul is one to note on his debut.
