Verdict
Home Before Dusk twice found Glasses Up too good over 1m2f at Ayr in the summer but could find some improvement for this step up in trip. However, we just prefer KNIGHTLY SPIRIT, who is more exposed but handled soft ground on Turf so is probably the more likely to take to this surface. Sociologist has been running over shorter distances since placing on Polytrack in February. He wouldn’t have much to find with the likely market leaders on these terms so can’t be ignored but it’s difficult to make a strong case for any of the others.
