Verdict
Red River Rebel is selected ahead of Moyne Pleasure and Find The King. Red River Rebel does at least know how to win and in an uninspiring affair, he is backed to stay two miles, having ran a career best over 1m6f last time out. Moyne Pleasure has been off the track for a while but was useful in his day and it would be folly to ignore him at this level. Find The King showed little last time out but the ex-Irish performer was rated much in excess of these and it will be interesting to see if there is any support on this occasion. Bulberry Hill is a previous winner over course-and-distance but has questions to answer after a couple of modest runs. Lawood was once rated in the 80's when with Kevin Ryan and the jury is out. Bolshoi Ballet is an in-and-out performer that possesses ability if in the mood to show it. Red River Rebel looks the most obvious selection in a race full of out-of-form types and we select him accordingly.
