Verdict

Good recent form is rather hard to find here and the most tentative of votes goes to WESTWOOD DAWN ahead of Twinned and Lady Hopeful. The selections best runs have come over this course and distance, including when a close-up third recently to Shakespeare's Son. Although yet to win in 14 starts, a win may not be far away and for a trainer who does well here he gets the nod. Jilly Why should be suited by the return to this trip, and her recent third to The Geester reads well. She has won eight times in her career and a win here would not be a shock. Bilboa and Lady Hopeful race from a pound out of the weights, Majestic Cheer only has one win in 25 starts, whilst Twinned has bits and pieces of form that could see him in the mix. A vile race, with the vote going to Westwood Dawn.
