Verdict

Luas steps up in trip having posted a better effort at Newmarket back in July but SIR LES PATTERSON placed over a mile at Kempton on last month’s debut behind a winner rated 88 and that looks strong enough form to open his account in this. First Alliance is the first foal of a German 1,000 Guineas winner and is an early entry in next year’s Irish 2,000 Guineas while 160,000gns purchase Alhather is another newcomer to note.
