In depth

Verdict

Scale Force has won here in the past though has his first start since August while Big Time Maybe also returns to action having scored on the Fibresand last year. My Excelsa has the more recent form with a success in novice company over track and trip but NATIONAL ANTHEM (NAP) was the more impressive when landing a novices’ contest by four lengths over 6f here. That was his first outing after wind surgery and his debut for David Brown’s yard so, with plenty more to come on this surface now handicapping, he can go in again. Young Tiger is usually thereabouts at this level and is preferred to Mulzim of the remainder.
