In depth
Verdict
Thankyou Very Much has been thereabouts at Newcastle recently but earlier efforts on this surface don’t inspire confidence. CAGED LIGHTNING is a dual course winner and also scored at Chelmsford in December with Argante, Ruler Of The Nile and Katie Gale all behind. Back on a winning mark with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account, Steve Gollings’ charge may well prove good enough. The Lock Master pops-up when the mood takes him but it’s difficult to predict when that will be and Cousin Khee has won here in the past.
