    Verdict

Home has every chance at the weights but Jim Boyle's colt has yet to prove that he stays this far and is not certain to do so, so he looks best left alone and preference is for Coral Shores who gets the vote ahead of Novestar. The last mentioned stayed a similar distance well enough in a Wolverhampton handicap last time and has to be respected back on the Fibresand off his light weight. Musharahb is less exposed than his rivals but needs to improve on the form shown in his two starts to trouble the judge. Tobago Bay has shown only limited signs of ability so far and of more interest and the one that gets the vote is Coral Shores. Peter Hiatt's filly opened her account in a Lingfield claimer over a similar trip last time and she is taken to follow up here.
