In depth
Verdict
Hill of Almhuim has dropped to a decent mark and could be of interest on his first start on the Fibresand but lack of a run on the surface has to be of concern for Peter Grayson's gelding and preference is for Sweet Pickle, who gets the vote ahead of Amber Glory. The last mentioned is another that has slipped back to a fair mark but Kevin Ryan's filly has given little sign for encouragement of late and she may be best watched at present. The 12-year-old Further Outlook is not as good as he once was and a bigger threat may come from Blythe Spirit, who has been off since February but is much better treated now than for some time and a market move for him would be of interest. The vote tough goes to Jim Boyle's Sweet Pickle who has shown a consistent level of form and he looks the safest option judged by that.
