        Verdict

        Multiple course and distance winner Even Stevens returns to this venue for the first time since January after running well at Wolverhampton last time. But he may end up providing a good tow round for POYLE VINNIE. The latter made an impressive debut at the track with a clear-cut win over the distance last month and looks up to defying an 8lb rise. Dutiful Son is up a further 7lb after landing a hat-trick at Kempton and has his first start on the surface but Woolfall Sovereign can race off a 6lb lower mark than when third here in January and has a shout.
