Verdict

The veteran General Tufto is still capable at this level and finished ahead of Rupert Boy and Limerick Lord when runner-up here a week ago. But it could pay to stick with HAMMER GUN, a shock 100/1 winner here five days ago. That was his first start on the Fibresand and having started life handicapping off a much higher mark last year when trained by Sir Michael Stoute, he’s taken to defy a penalty and go in again. Dark Forest won here in January and could go well again.
