Verdict
Ward Castle just got the better of Haven Lady when landing an apprentices’ race over 1m4f here and escapes a penalty while Smokey Malone placed over today’s trip at Chelmsford. But BILLY BATHGATE found only one too good in a higher grade contest over course and distance last time and may finally get his head in front. Kitten's Dream ran below par when Bascinet scored at Wolverhampton last month but the latter had earlier beaten Got Bright at Chelmsford.
