In depth

Verdict

HIDDEN GLEN has the advantage of a recent run when runner-up over hurdles at Newton Abbot a week ago. That was his first outing for the Newland yard and can go one better racing off the same mark back over the larger obstacles. Scartare finished second in soft going at Hereford in March but remains without a win in 29 starts now but Code Of Law scored off a similar mark at Stratford last summer and makes more appeal. Blue N Yellow ran well at Market Rasen on his chasing bow but the veteran Burning Issues has a poor strike rate over fences.
