        Verdict

        Not a medium for serious punting and Auction Boy is a token pick against Dazzling Olivia and Desirable Dancer. Auction Boy was always going to struggle on his recent outing but he had shown glimpses of ability in previous races on the turf and we recommend the ex-65 rated horse to the most minimal of stakes. Dazzling Olivia has to be respected as an inmate of the Richard Fahey stable. A fair run at Ripon on the soft reads well although it is disconcerting that she has not appeared at the track since August. Desirable Dancer showed a first glimpse of any aptitude when dropped to selling grade at Wolverhampton. A similar performance may suffice. The blinkers did not suit Homes By Woodford and are swiftly removed. Pas De Trois has failed to build on earlier efforts but is from a shrewd yard so the market is watched for any evidence of support. Not a race to be sticking the mortgage on and Auction Boy is offered up as the most token of selections.
