It could pay to stick with JORDI ROPER who is given the vote over Hurricane Coast and Casablanca Minx. The selection was a ready winner last time out when he was good value for his winning margin here over Hamaasy. He was doing his best work at the finish that day so this step-up in trip should suit and he remains unexposed so he is a confident choice. Hurricane Coast wasn't beaten far at Wolverhampton last time but he had the race run to suit and the plum draw on that occasion and he wasn't able to take advantage. Casablanca Minx is capable of better than she showed last time out at Wolverhampton. Gay Kelleway's filly has won 8 times on the all-weather but she has yet to race here and it will be interesting to see how she handles this surface. Top Jaro has a capable apprentice on board and he makes some each-way appeal, but Jordi Roper has plenty in his favour and he sets the standard for the others.
