Verdict

STAR OF ST JAMES made short work of the opposition when scoring by six lengths over track and trip last week. He’s penalised for that success but is due to be raised a further 6lb after today and can take advantage. Headland also carries a penalty having beaten Motawaafeq here last time though today’s opponent Custard The Dragon comes out best on collateral form while both Native Silver and Love Your Work finished down the field in the same race here last month. Newcastle winner Vive La Difference was well beaten back at the latter venue last time.
