In depth

Verdict

Wise Eagle won at Newcastle recently and should be in the mix once again but PROTECTED GUEST (NAP) makes most appeal in this. George Margarson’s charge won in this grade at Lingfield earlier and was beaten only a head in a tougher Class 2 contest off today’s mark at Wolverhampton last week. Napper Tandy is back on a winning mark for a yard in flying form and is preferred to Fair Star while Affwonn has more scope than Soaring Star, who is upped in class having won here last month.
