Verdict

Attimo easily justified favouritism at Sedgefield last week but quicker going and a penalty could scupper hopes of a quick follow-up. The versatile RIDDLESTOWN has been in good form around here over hurdles lately. He reverts to chasing off a 4lb lower mark and is only 3lb higher than for his last success over fences. Mondo Cane has similar credentials and looks a danger but Sacre Malta has never won over the larger obstacles and hasn't really sparkled since arriving from Ireland.
