In depth

Verdict

Master Sunrise disappointed at Worcester last week having finished runner-up at Stratford before that but could go well with Richard Johnson taking over the reins. Generous Chief won over hurdles in May and can race off a lower mark back over the larger obstacles but a chance is taken on the returning CLASSIC JEWEL. The latter has placed in all three subsequent starts since scoring at Uttoxeter at this time last year and has gone well fresh before. Midnight Queen is a recent point-to-point winner that has placed over timber in the past and makes her chasing bow today.
