Verdict
Linroyale Boy arrives in search of a hat-trick of course victories. He's the one to beat on his recent form over shorter distances but his earlier defeat over track and trip is a concern and a punt is taken on DECANA instead. Hughie Morrison's mare is a course and distance winner and, with an apprentice's allowance taken into account, can race off a lower mark on her reappearance. Calculating beat Neighbourhood over 2m at this track last month, but was well beaten despite finishing second back here a fortnight ago while the veteran Pocketwood missed the whole of last year, though is potentially well weighted if anything like his best on his return.
