      Verdict

      GNAAD finished behind runner-up Billy's Boots at Lingfield last time but the former had won a maiden over course and distance before that - Robert Cowell’s charge can reverse running back on this surface. Billy’s Boots has since been well beaten at Newcastle but Maggi May showed a big improvement when third here on her first start since August and goes handicapping for the first time. She’s preferred to Cool Echo, who has slid further down the weights since finishing fourth over track and trip in January.
