In depth

Verdict

An interesting bumper made all the more so by the presence of HEART OF A LION. The son of Yeats makes his first racecourse appearance for Alan King and JP McManus and is taken to make a winning start in the hope that the market speaks well of his chance. Rory And Me was quite impressive first time up for Micky Hammond and should make a good fist of conceding 7lb all round, whilst No Quarter Given and Nomountainhienough both showed potential for the future when delivering pleasing debuts. Neither are ruled out and they are preferred in that order in what could prove an informative bumper.
