A good quality novice chase where it may pay to take a chance with EMERALD WILDERNESS; Schelm and Master Nimbus may be chief amongst the dangers. The selection is facing some experienced rivals on his chase bow which makes his task all the harder but he does receive weight from the majority of the field. He failed to win in six starts over hurdles despite finishing in the money on four occasions but he has put his head in front twice on the level this year. Postmaster should be more competitive in this company but the weight concession should tell. Marsam has been well held behind a couple of today's rivals already this year but is capable on his day. Noticeable was one of those but he's finished well held in handicaps since then and needs to prove that he can build on his Huntingdon win. Cortinas regularly flatters to deceive and isn't one to rely on when the chips are down but Master Nimbus knows how to win races and comes here fresh from a run on the level. Irish raider Schelm was an easy winner at Sedgefield in June and is yet another with live chances but we'll take a chance with Emerald Wilderness.
