In depth

Verdict

CARNAC had higher rated handicappers than these behind when scoring over 2m here last month. Alan McCabe looks to have found a good opportunity for his C&D winner to get his head back in front as he was up against it in much better comapny last time. Irish import King's Road makes his Fibresand debut on his return to action and could figure if taking to the surface while Nippy Nikki went close over 1m4f here before a below-par effort last time. Jonnie Skull has done all his winning at up to 7f and is hard to fancy over today's trip given he was nearer last than first when tried over 1m3f at this track in January.
