In depth

Verdict

Potters Midnight landed a bumper here in May but made too many mistakes on her hurdling debut at Stratford the following month. Awesome Rosie makes her hurdling debut after landing a Worcester bumper on good ground in May and Alan King has a good strike rate here. Yes I Did made a winning debut between the flags at Ballinaboola in January and has shown promise in bumpers, though will be much better suited to jumping fences. VIA VOLUPTA was beaten just a head over the track and trip in June and, in the expectation that she will improve and handle the softer ground, she looks the one to be on. Jonjo O'Neill's newcomer Princess Tiana is by Yeats out of a winning hurdler so she is clearly one to keep an eye on in the market while George Baker sends Hoponandsee from Manton and she showed improved form on her third bumper start at Worcester last month.
