Verdict

IRONOPOLIS’ first run for Rebecca Menzies at Newcastle wasn’t entirely without promise and he may do better now stepped up to 1m4f. The penalised Fox Flame is the obvious danger after bolting up over this trip at Wolverhampton but there are also possibilities about The Renegade in a first-time visor while Sir John Monash has form at the track and has run well over a mile at Newcastle the last twice.
