Verdict
Another open affair in which many have chances but we will take a chance on Picture Palace. The gelding from the Gary Moore yard won well last time out when defeating Kuwait Millennium and although he has risen in the weights he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Time N Tide has dropped to a fair mark and rates the main danger on his best form but he will need the rain to stay away if he is to score. Wontcostalotbut has been in good form over fences of late and is on a fair mark for his return to hurdles but he is another that needs a fast surface to be seen to good effect. Ungaretti is another that could go well but his best efforts of late have come over shorter trips. Onassis was a good second behind Howarewenow but that was on soft ground and he is not as effective on a fast surface. Of the remainder Mike Simmons has dropped to a handy mark and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
