Verdict

A 4lb rise in the weights for TOPCROFT looks lenient and he might be able to follow up his Kempton strolls; Hit The Switch looks to be the main danger. The selection chases a hat-trick today after two bloodless wins at Kempton. It is surprising that the handicapper has only raised him a total of 10lbs in the weights and if he handles this surface then from a good draw he may be hard to beat. Hit The Switch is a course and distance winner and he still looks fairly treated; although he has a lot to find with the selection on their run on the 2nd December, this surface may be a leveller and the return to a mile will suit. He was behind Jonnie Skull last time out; that runner is in good form but all the evidence points to stamina issues over this trip. My Sweet Georgia is another who runs the track well but she has never looked like a miler, Amber Sunset is tumbling down the handicap, whilst the same applies to Lindy Hop and better is expected at some stage in the near future. Any market move for Hohrod would be interesting as he makes his handicap debut off a basement mark, however with the consistent Luisa Tetrazzini taken on in first-time cheek-pieces, we are happy to side with Topcroft to land the hat-trick.
