        Fort Sumter (USA) Broke his duck over course and distance last time but that came in a muddling affair and today's task is much tougher.

        Running Times (USA) Always behind on reappearance here 17 days ago; suspicion that this trip may be on the short side but it is encouraging that this gelding has been kept in training so it might be worth a look in the market.

        Susan's Dowry Saves her best for this track; won over this trip in January and is a definite live contender today.

        Ocean Song The trainer has yet to find this filly's optimum trip and can easily be looked over today following a couple of poor recent runs.

        Arpello Up 6lb for her victory at Wolverhampton six days ago; won well that day from some experienced handicappers; worth another go today in spite of the penalty.

        Tarcoola Little appeal on the bare form; badly handicapped on what he has achieved so far and is easily looked over.

        Mutahadeth Step up in trip should suit but has shown little of the form recently that saw him win a mile event at Wolverhampton in December; place possibilities.

        Roger Ross Won well here in January; should go well today but can be inconsistent at times and is not one to trust.

        Loch Ailort Ran well after a slow start here 10 days ago and is very well handicapped at present; must have an excellent chance today especially over this longer trip.

        Almohad Poor hurdler; fitness must be taken on trust and is best watched today.

        Horton Dancer Disappointing maiden who although is nicely weighted today will find it hard over this inadequate trip; might possibly stay on for a place.

        Irsal General level of form not worth getting excited about; best avoided.

        Alberkinnie Well beaten on all his starts this season; would need to improve a lot to play a part here.
