Verdict

Zylan finished in front of Samovar when landing last year’s renewal but fell victim to Katheefa over track and trip last month. The latter faced a tough task here last time and better is expected from him while the progressive Nigel Nott shrugged off a penalty in novice company at Lingfield to land a double over the minimum trip and debuts on the Fibresand. But SANDRIDGE LAD notched-up a hat-trick of course and distance successes with last week’s victory and John Ryan’s charge looks worth sticking with in his current form.
