In depth
Verdict
Another tricky race to solve with only Tefi, Curate and Kenny The Truth totally out of it on official ratings. French Horn looks interesting on his Southwell debut despite not being in the best of form of late. He has been running over ten furlongs in his past few starts and this return to a mile, where he has done all his winning, may help. Blinkers were applied last time but to no effect and first-time cheekpieces are tried here. The horse ran well in much better races than this last season and he could be the one to take a chance with provided he acts on this track. Bravura, a winner last time out, although in good form returns to a trip he is not especially suited to and to a track where he has yet to prove he acts. Pup's Pride won a seller here recently but this looks more difficult and he failed to follow up that effort last time out.
