Verdict
NEWPORT ARCH has a penalty for last week's victory over 1m4f here, but he won doing handstands and John Quinn's colt doesn't look to have stopped winning yet. Mediterranean Sea has for now, though she had First Rock behind behind when runner-up last time having landing a hat-trick at this track before that, while recent course winners Favorite Girl and Light The City both take a step up in class. Southern State may well figure on his Fibresand debut having gone close on the Polytrack on more than one occasion and Lifetime ran really well when runner-up on his only start on this surface back in December.
