Verdict
Trinity Rose is the selection ahead of Special Moment and Stolen Light. The selection looked to be ahead of the handicapper when landing a race over two miles at the track, and the Johnston team have elected to strike again before the assessor has his say on proceedings. Special Moment has always looked as if a step up in trip should suit although her recent run at Wolverhampton was nothing to write home about. She appears the most obvious selection if the favourite fluffs her lines. Stolen Light had some fair form in Ireland prior to joining Andy Crook although there was no hiding the fact that his recent run at Musselburgh rated a complete stinker. Banded stakes graduate, Virginia Rose could still be on the upgrade but the assessor has had a fair chance of looking at her. Grand Palace is massively stepped up in trip while failed hurdlers, Galandora and Indian Chase are difficult to make a case for at this level. Trinity Rose will be priced at short odds but it is difficult to get away from her in this race.
