In depth

Verdict

Toosey journeys over from Ireland after going close at Thurles but has to race off an 8lb higher mark and WESTERN WAVE is preferred. The latter just missed out at Chepstow on his return to action and looks to have an easier task in this with a conditional‘s allowance easing the burden of carrying top weight. Wincanton winner Cahill ran well again at Exeter last time while Nemean Lion scored over a longer trip at Sedgefield recently and may also figure. Miss Spent wasn’t beaten far at Warwick last time but King Cool disappointed back over timber having won a chase at Plumpton earlier in the year.
