In depth

Verdict

Mariners Moon won over track and trip when last in action but that was back in 2019 while Sir Tivo carries 7lb extra after opening his account with a win at Stratford last week. But SHADY CHARACTER won over hurdles here in March and made a winning debut over fences when successful at Worcester last time. There’s more to come over the larger obstacles and he can go in again. Infinite Sun was still in contention when falling at Market Rasen while Nikki Steel is back on a winning mark and Nobel Leader slips further down the weights.
