Verdict
This should not take a great deal of winning and Ela Re, who is well treated on official BHB ratings, should be too classy for his rivals with Wages and Munaawesh looking the pick of the remainder of a moderate bunch. The selection is no world-beater but this represents a big drop in class for the six-year-old who should be up to inning this. Scippit is not badly treated at the weights but has along absence to overcome and is probably best watched at present. Staff Nurse was of little ability on the level but ran promisingly in a handicap on the flat here recently and is less exposed than many of these over hurdles. Reedsman has to be respected given his connections although of more interest may be Wages, although his latest start in similar grade at Stratford tempers enthusiasm. Munaawesh is a rare runner over hurdles for trainer David Chapman and is another to consider but Ela Re is different class to these on his best form and should be too good.
