Nickleby is the only course winner having won over 6f in January but Bold Territories has won on the surface at Wolverhampton and Newcastle on the way to completing a hat-trick at Redcar. The latter is just 3lb higher and looks the main threat to BROXI. Dean Ivory's charge had signalled an imminent victory when placed at Kempton and attracted strong support at Brighton where he won easing down. It's a long time since Ebury won a race but he's gradually been coming down in the weights and first-time blinkers could help his cause. Hardy is still a maiden and has had plenty of chances but Catch My Breath wins his share and John Ryan's grey can make his presence felt.
