A prolific winner on the Fibresand, General Tufto won a division of this last year but is returning from a lay-off this time. Breaking Free won a maiden handicap over track and trip recently but is 6lb higher today while though the Irish challenger, Why Me, finished ahead of Limerick Lord when second over 7f here last time he has yet to win. Roger Thorpe is a rare winner nowadays but GUNNER MOYNE won over course and distance off a 5lb higher mark earlier this year and Emma Owen’s new charge may well bounce back in this.
