Verdict
Although Flouncing sets a fair standard in this maiden Ralph Beckett and Jim Crowley have been on fine form when teaming up so we go for that combination with PRIMO DE VIDA while Zephyron also has claims. Progressive as a juvenile the selection failed to build on that on his seasonal return last time. He looked in need of the run that day and he can do better so with a return to a surface he acts on he looks worth chancing. Flouncing has been racing close to better horses than these so far but he too failed to build on some promising efforts last year. He also may have needed that blowout but he is yet to be seen on the Fibresand. Zephyron has looked mildly progressive in his last thre runs and blinkers could help bring about further improvement and Marafong is considered on his best work but he bit be getting a little exposed in this company. This is not a straight forward start to the day and we side with yard and jockey form and Primo De Vida.
