In depth
Verdict
Maakirr posted a better effort at Wolverhampton last time but was well beaten here despite finishing runner-up before that.Yahilwa has also been placed on the Polytrack recently and should figure if handling the surface. Hughie Morrison has a fine strike rate at this course and MIDAZ is expected to improve on his modest debut effort at Kempton. He gets the nod ahead of the newcomer Celestial Ray, a full brother to Group 3 winner Heaven Sent. Bougaloo has been placed on the Fibresand and looks best of the remainder.
