      Verdict

      Imperial Red has failed to show any progress and tries his luck on the Fibresand now handicapping for the first time. Isoletta finished in front of Global Angel when fourth at Lingfield and drops further down the weights while Hilborough and Amity Island were both beaten in claiming races on their latest starts without threatening. GOING NATIVE could only manage third in a similar maiden handicap here recently but an apprentice takes 7lb off her back for this and that may be enough to see Olly Williams’ filly off the mark today.
