Verdict
Amateur rider events are never the easiest to predict but our vote here goes to Our destiny ahead of Noble Pursuit, Levantine, Red Delirium and Iamback. The plus points for the selection are that he acts on this surface and he goes well for today's rider, the partnership having been just touched off at Wolverhampton two runs ago. A repeat of that effort would give his supporters a good run for their money. Noble Pursuit also has form on the surface and has remained pretty consistent from his current mark, while Red Delirium, being one of only two course and distance winners in the line-up, should also go well. The other c/d scorer is See Ya Maite, although he's a bit in-and-out formwise these days. Levantine comes into the race in pretty good heart and goes well for today's rider. Also the cheekpieces - in which he has run well before - are back on today, which looks a positive point. With Gaye Kelleway's stable in such good form it would be folly to dismiss Iamback from the equation and Prince Minata has been out of form of late but should be capable of a better display at this type of level. Overall, though, we will side with Our Destiny.
