      Verdict

      NEWS SHOW makes her debut on this surface but given the paucity of serious opposition, a chance is taken she'll act on it. David Simcock's filly sluiced up at Yarmouth last week and with a 6lb penalty negated by Alice Haynes' claim, she can follow-up. The rest of the field arrive in woeful form though Three Bards scored over a mile here back in February and should stay today's trip on breeding while Zain Glory may be capable of better on his handicap debut. Tooley Woods and Rano Pano have shown little to recommend them so far.
