Verdict
HENNESSY ISLAND is the form pick to land the finale at the expense of Outer Hebrides and Provost. The selection has improved with the switch from a poly track surface to fibre sand and really caught the eye when second of nine behind Topazes at this venue last time out. He only has to reproduce that effort to be in the shake up once again so is a horse to stay on the right side of for the time being. Outer Hebrides has been in consistent form of late and was not beaten far over course and distance last time out. Milton Bradley has had a quiet year but his horses have hit a purple patch of late so any market moves should be noted. Provost won on the turf at Ayr in October and although soundly beaten on the fibre sand thereafter he did perform with credit at Wolverhampton last time out so warrants respect. However for the winner we return to Hennessy Island.
