Verdict

Wimboldsley is penalised for ending a long losing run with last week’s course and distance victory. The 2015 winner Cadeaux Pearl was back in fourth while several of these took part in a sprint here a fortnight ago with runner-up Treaty Of Rome finishing just ahead of Mustn't Grumble and both Spowarticus and Outlaw Kate well beaten. But five-times course winner VERY FIRST BLADE also went close over 5f at the same meeting and it’s Michael Mullineaux’s charge that gets the vote now back on a winning mark.
